Google’s new logo is a barcode which, as far as we can tell, says “Google.” Today is the 57th anniversary of the first patent on the bar code. Inventors Norman Woodland and Bernard Silver filed the patent on October 1949, and it was granted, No. 2,612,994 (pdf), on October 7, 1952. The original patent was for a system that would encode data in circles (a bulls eye pattern), so that it could be scanned in any direction.

According to this Twitter Message yesterday it was noticed that many of the Twitter accounts had their avatars changed or removed. Most of the twitter accounts had their avatar changed to the Twitter’s Bird icon which was quiet weird .

BTW , their last status update at 5:30pm explains everything , but not the problem . No one is sure about the problem except twitter . Hopefully everything will be fixed soon . As i said this happens to only most of the twitter accounts not all. I did not face this problem. My avatar did not change which is a good news for me .

It is also true that The New Facebook Lite Loads pretty faster than the normal Facebook Home page . It’s Better for people with a slower connection and also for people who dont want a lot of content to be displayed on their homepage.
