Rumors of an Apple tablet – essentially a large iPhone or iPod touch – have been swirling for over a year. Today the Financial Times is adding credibility to the rumors, reporting that Apple is rushing to debut the device in time for the Christmas shopping season.
The article swings back and forth between the new device and a series of record label deals Apple could launch simultaneously, but here are the points specifically related to the tablet:
Screen size: “may be up to 10 inches diagonally”, touch sensitive (of course)
Phone capability? Unlikely – it’s more like a large iPod Touch than an iPhone.
Wireless connectivity: Same as the iPod Touch, with the ability to download media through iTunes.
Kindle Rival? May provide the ability to read books, creating a rival to Amazon’s Kindle.
Launch date: By Christmas, possibly as early as September.
Firing one of the first shots in the net neutrality war, AT&T has blocked 4chan’s /b/ image board. AT&T subscribers are unable to connect to /b/ and /r9k/ (both of which are hosted on img.4chan.org). However, subscribers can get on any of the so-called «worksafe» boards that 4chan.org offers.
The problem seems to be present only for wired connections only (AT&T Mobility customers are not affected). The problem is not caused by an DNS-error, as traceroutes indicates that AT&T is dropping img.4chan.org requests in the AT&T network.
When the iPhone 3G S debuted last month, AT&T held on to the previous model as a less expensive option. This version is available now for just $49, but there’s a catch.The units selling at this price are not brand new — they have been refurbished. This means they have been purchased and then later returned for some reason.
As AT&T says:
Refurbished phones are previously owned devices that have been unused or lightly used and returned during the 30-day trial period. Each refurbished phone is independently quality tested and loaded with the latest software to meet current factory standards. Some refurbished iPhone 3G devices will have minor scratches.
Refurbished iPhone 3G devices carry a warranty of 90 days or more.
Getting this price requires agreeing to a two-year iPhone service contract. The regular price for a non-refurbished device with 8 GB of storage and this same service agreement is $99.
Well , Today morning i woke up , Had a cup of coffee and Started to browse. Well for a bitter surprise , The websites homepage was taken down by Mr.Sh3ll from Arabic-M Group of hackers .

Well He had taken down the site by DEFACEMENT – It literally means taking down the web server by means of using Exploits . Well He managed to change on the index.php file of our blog. I guess so it must be an RFI exploit in the php file.
By the way he fails in long run , i managed to get back the site , nothing was deleted or changed , no passwords were found by him . He didn’t access the Secret areas of the website . Probably some noob using a 2001 hack exploit . By the way i fixed all folder permissions , which will prevent him from accessing the folders or creating a c99.php attack exploit .
Hold on to your hats, because this is about the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long, long time. It’s the new teaser trailer for Tron Legacy, shown this week at Comic Con. The first movie, as it turns out, was probably a bit too far ahead of its time. But the sequel, some 30 years later, is still in front of the curve, but not by as much.
Last year at Comic Con, Disney unveiled some test footage for what was at the time referred to as TR2N. However, we all now know the film is titled Tron Legacy and is a sequel to the 1982 original starring Jeff Bridges, Beau Garrett, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner and Garrett Hedlund.
When the film was introduced last year it was done using a 3-minute piece of test footage showing a pair of combatants battling it out on the game grid in Tron City on their Light Cycles. Unfortunately, the footage was then only bootlegged online and never officially released to those that weren’t in attendance… until now.
Yesterday at the Comic Con panel I told you they showed the footage once again, only this time in 3-D, and along with that Disney has now officially released the footage to the online masses. Check it out directly below
