Since we encountered a problem with one of Our Plugins yesterday , we had to take a whole Database Back-up and Make a new blog and restore the back. It seems that one of the plugins was not compatible with the version of WordPress we are using – 2.8.4 , By the Way Nothing is lost except all the plugins and the Theme has got back it’s old features like the Featured Video , some old banners and stuff . Nothing else is changed . We wont be removing the featured video this time. The Twitter Plugin has been removed , which posts updates of my tweets from my twitter account , which cause a lot of slow page loads.

We have added back almost all of the old plugins back on , except the Mobile plugin which allows users to view our website with a mobile Phone compatibility basis . We will install this plugin sooner this week as a new update wil be released on that plugin.

We will also be changing a few stuff around the blog . We will allow users to make their own blog posts soon by the end of the week on request and review . A few Theme edit’s will be made in order to make page load’s faster and to have a better look. Thank you for Reading this

Hello There

Well The main reason that i was not able to make a blog post for 2 days was cause due to lack of time and A couple of Windows Corrupt Registry files which i was struggling to fix for a long time. I faced a lot of BSOD’s and Microsoft Online support was my only option was quicker fix.. but sadly they could not work to fix the error.

Well my error was fixed alright , i just had to make a simple system restore. Sorry that i was not active over here. I’m back now and i’ll be making a lot of blog posts so stay  in touch.

This is to bring to your notice that , our host had been facing some downtime , due to memory overloads – due to which Online Geeks was facing many – Out of Memory errors .

Most of this has been fixed and they are also planning to upgrading their servers by adding more RAM

As you all might have noticed that our website was down due to the reason that we were shifting hosts. We have move to a better host now , with enough space and BW to run the website quiet well.

We would also like to tell you that we have not lost any data at all , everything is as perfect as it is . We did have a lot of errors on the website and forum due to the moving of hosts , but i have fixed them all up.

Well , Today morning i woke up , Had a cup of coffee and Started to browse. Well for a bitter surprise , The websites homepage was taken down by Mr.Sh3ll from Arabic-M Group of hackers .

I was able to track from which website he has come :

Well He had taken down the site by DEFACEMENT – It literally means taking down the web server by means of using Exploits . Well He managed to change on the index.php file of our blog. I guess so it must be an RFI exploit in the php file.

What is Defacement ?

By the way he fails in long run , i managed to get back the site , nothing was deleted or changed , no passwords were found by him . He didn’t access the Secret areas of the website . Probably some noob using a 2001 hack exploit . By the way i fixed all folder permissions , which will prevent him from accessing the folders or creating a c99.php attack exploit .

Welcome to Online Geeks ! . I have decided to change out my websites homepage . Well i came out with this fabulous Skin. I’ll be opening a new poll as soon as i am done working with editing  the skin. With this we have moved to wordpress , i would like to keep the homepage simple and clean . I’ll inform everyone right over here with another post once i’m done with everything. By the way the Forum is always open !. Anyone can register on the forum and start their discussion over there .
