When it comes to security and access control for your shops and offices the easy and power-fail safe  Electronic door lock device would be the Electronic Strike.  Even though there are several other alternatives for safe door keeping like the Magnetic locks, these seem to function only when there is continuous availability of Electricity.

Unlike magnetic locks, Electronic strikes works during power failures. These locks remain secured from the outside and can be mechanically opened, either by pressing hold of the buzzers from the inside or having access from the outside through a security card.  Whenever electricity or power is applied to these strikes they’ll automatically open, that’s similar to what the buzzer does. The buzzer applies AC power to these strikes and they open up easily.

These can easily replace the magnetic locks as they do not require continuous supply of electricity and is much efficient and fail safe.
