Tumblr goes from 1 Billion to 10 Billion posts in one year

Tumblr, one of the most popular Blogging social network has surpassed 10 Billion blog posts in just one year. With almost 30 million blogs hosted on their network, tumblr has been Jet rocketing in terms of activity, blog posts and content sharing.

The staggering rise in traffic right from 1.5 Billion page views a month in the month of July to 13 Billion page views a month shows a significant increase page views. About 36 million blogs make around 26 million posts a day which is really great.

On this great occasion Tumblr celebrated by displaying a colorful Confetti on the users Dashboard. Grabbing this opportunity Tumblr could estimate a total funding of about $1 Billion.
