Youtube at the Vidcon 2010 conference has announced the upcoming support for 4K videos . 4K is a High Quality digital video standard having resolutions of 4096 x 3072 . So now youtube videos will support resolutions from 360p to 4096p .

It is true that such quality video contents can only recorded from 4K camcorders which many of us might not have .This is not only concern as certain users may not have the required Bandwidth to issue playback of such content or may not have a high performance system to view such a content .
Along with the above scheme Youtube will also be providing partners grants where it will be paying different production companies with grants for producing high quality video content.
