Firefox 1.1 Out for Maemo , Supporting Add-ons

Yesterday Mozilla had released the Final version of Firefox 1.1 right after 2 months of it being in it’s beta stage . And now Firefox has brought an even better browsing experience for the Nokia N900 . This time it includes Add-ons , improving the UI performance , saving to PDF , making it even more secure and customizable . The Context Menu lets you Open in New Tab and Save Image by long tapping and holding a link.

The Version currently supports more than 60 Add-ons Which can be downloaded from the add-on manager of the browser . The browser supports both landscape and Portrait mode for browsing . So if you have the Nokia N900 or the N810 devices , this is a must have browser and can be downloaded from the application manager .

    Yes , Glad to see that Mozilla has made it's way into the Maemo Platform , and hopefully the Meego Platform also . They must also make some plans to develop their browser for iOS4 and Android .
