Google has come up with it’s next update for the Google Android OS . The Android 2.2 which has bees codenamed as Froyo . As Reported by Techcrunch “Google added a plastic desert sculpture of a frozen yogurt outside of their Android building today (here’s Eclair, the last version), indicating the imminent arrival of the next version of the Android operating system, Android 2.2, AKA Froyo.”
This New Google Android Operating system will support Tethering and WiFi Connectivity (MiFi) via USB which will then allow users to use their Device as a Modem and share their Internet connectivity.
The Android 2.2 has Adobe Flash Player 10.1 pre-installed and tests proved that the Froyo is four times faster than the Eclair according to the benchmark tests by The Android Police . There were reports of Faster Processing Speeds , specially when tested on the Nexus one. All this was made with a view to improve performance and speed .
Google Will be announcing the release of Froyo in it’s Google I/O developer conference in San Francisco the coming week. There were further reports that Froyo will be shipped to the Nexus one customers soon.
